For those of you who do not know, Marsala wine is an excellant wine for adding flavor to many dishes. It is a fortified wine which is produced in the Marsala region near Sicily in Italy. Marsala Wine is most frequently used in recipes by reducing the wine with shallots and other herbs until it because a thicker sauce. This is then used to cook with other meats, such as in the Veal Marsala Recipe and the Chicken Marsala Recipe.
